123 Entry had a number of firsts:  They were the 1st Entry to be enlisted as dual trade aircraft technicians and were the 1st Apprentice Entry to undertake Recruit training at RAF Swinderby. They were the 1st large Entry to hit Halton for a number of years and were the 1st Entry to receive a different and much to the annoyance of the senior apprentices, slightly higher pay scale!  This website is dedicated (but not exclusive) to those 150 or so guys  who undertook training in the trades of Airframes & Propulsion, plus of course the Dental Apprentices, who endured RAF Halton alongside us (or was it RAF Halton that endured us?). With the permission of a small number of guys who are actively campaigning for a reunion in 2013, there will soon be a number of photos from our time at both Swinderby & Halton, to rekindle the old memories before they fade away.
